Located almost exactly between Dallas and Fort Worth, Dallas/Ft Worth International (DFW) is a short ride from both cities on Highway 97 or via several public transport options such as buses, trains or the DART. Flight duration is two hours and 30 minutes to San Jose Cabo Los Cabos (SJD). Located just north of all the tourist resorts of Cabo San Lucas, at the very tip of the California peninsula; the hotels and beaches are only a short taxi or shuttle ride away.

Attractions

Known as a prime location to party, Cabo San Lucas probably boasts more beach bars per square foot than any other place on Earth. Besides the vibrant nightlife, the area also offers first-class hotels centered on pampering their guests with spas and room service. There are also several renowned golf courses offering views of the ocean during a putt, and some excellent opportunities to go snorkeling. The crown of any visit to Cabo, though, is probably the opportunity to go swimming with some dolphins.

Hints and tips

The weather in Cabo San Lucas is excellent during the entire year, so visitors only need to bring light clothing. Most of the area's hotels generally are built right on the beach, making a quick dip only a few minutes' walk away.
