About Steve Vai
Stephen Siro Vai, who is usually known as Steve Vai, is an American guitarist, composer, a musician. Originally from Carle Place, New York, he has been known as a hard rock, instrumental rock, progressive metal, and heavy metal performer during his career. In addition to singing, he frequently plays the guitar at the same time. He has been acting for the better part of the last 40 years, and he has been signed to numerous labels, including Epic, Relativity, and Favored Nations. He has also performed with numerous other artists including Meat Loaf, Whitesnake, Devin Townsend, Billy Sheehan, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Paul Gilbert, and Frank Zappa. Now, Steve Vai is going on tour once again, giving everyone a chance to hear him perform live.
A Brief History of Steve Vai
Steve Vai started his music career at the age of 18. At that time, he was a transcriptionist for Frank Zappa. He also played in the band for approximately three years. In 1983, he embarked on a solo career, releasing eight studio albums since that time. During the course of his career, he has won three Grammys and has been nominated 15 times. He has been described as an individualistic player as well as a trendsetter for heavy rock and metal music. He has also toured with a wide variety of other marquee acts including Mary J Blige, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, and David Lee Roth. Now, he is going on tour once again.
