Born in Michigan but raised in Arizona, David Spade started getting into comedy seriously when he was in college. He got his big break in 1990 when he was hired onto Saturday Night Live. He developed several famous characters, all known for their heavy sarcasm. In the mid-1990s David Spade started to appear in more movies, notably Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, and Grown Ups. TV called to him again, and David Spade took up snarky characters in Just Shoot Me!, Rules of Engagement, and 8 Simple Rules. In 2003 David Spade was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His comedy has always been marked by a biting sarcasm, a wry sense of self-deprecation that has brought thousands of audience members to tears of laughter.
