Cat Power Origins
Cat Power is from Atlanta and was raised in the Southern United States. She has always had an interest in singing and had a breakthrough when she opened for Liz Phair in 1993. Eventually, she started performing on her own, and she recorded her first two albums in 1994, but they were not released until 1995 and 1996. Following her first two albums, she signed to her first label and released a third album. She took a break for a few years, but she returned in the early 2000s, releasing numerous other albums. Now, she is giving live performances to eager audiences across the country.
