Lady Antebellum was formed in Nashville by band members who had grown up in country music households. Kelley and Haywood were classmates growing up and Kelley had convinced Haywood to move to Nashville to start a music career together. After a couple of months working together they found their leading lady via MySpace. In 2006 they invited Scott to be a part of the band, and from there on out they were known as Lady Antebellum. The name "Antebellum" comes from a photoshoot the trio did in front of an antebellum style house in the south, the name meaning "before the war”.

Lady Antebellum had steadily growing popularity from the moment they signed with their label in 2007, and now they're one of the hottest country music bands of today. In April of 2008 they released their debut album, reaching number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Later that year they signed on as the opening act for Martina McBride. In 2010 the trio began their first of many tours to support their albums. To promote their album, Own the Night, the band performed for the 2011 American Idol results show. It became an extremely powerful moment for lead singer Hillary Scott as she had auditioned for the show twice in the past only to be denied after the first round both times. Fast forward a few years and now Lady Antebellum is one of the most popular country music groups out there, with radio hits like "Need You Now," "Just a Kiss," and "I Run to You." Their powerhouse vocals and sweet lyrics have garnered them a dedicated, loyal following.

In August of 2018 the trio separated from their original record label and signed on with Big Machine Records. Later that year in October, they announced that they were going to be taking up residency in Las Vegas’ Palms Casino Resort. The residency will include fifteen dates and will be entitled Our Kind of Vegas. The expected start date of the residency is February of 2019. Get your cheap Lady Antebellum tickets today!
