The Chiefs played in the very first Super Bowl following the 1966 season, although they were stopped by the Green Bay Packers under Coach Vince Lombardi. Just three years later, the Chiefs bounced back when they beat the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV, creating more demand for Chiefs tickets for sale.

The Kansas City Chiefs stadium
The Chiefs originally played their games at the 35,000-seat Municipal Stadium. The AFL-NFL merger in 1966 required that all stadiums seat at least 50,000 fans, so Arrowhead Stadium was constructed along the eastern edge of Kansas City next to Kaufmann Stadium, home of professional baseball's Kansas City Royals. After several years of construction, the Chiefs played their first home games at Arrowhead Stadium in 1972. The Chief's home stadium underwent a $375 million renovation in 2010, and the updated facility now seats 76,415 football fans.
