1. Hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

Lace up your hiking shoes for this epic three-day hike in Peru that is 26 miles long and ends at the “Lost City of the Incas.” This challenging trek will have you hiking through gorgeous mountains, cloud forests and camping right on the Inca Trail. Only 500 permits a day are issued for this world famous hike, so book early.

2. Trek to mountain gorillas in Uganda

Head off into some of the densest rainforest in the world following a man with a machete in Uganda. There is no path and there is no guarantee you’ll find mountain gorillas. It’s not easy, but this is a once in a lifetime experience that won’t be around forever. Aside from the physical difficulty of the trek, another reason you may not want to wait on this one is there are only around 800 mountain gorillas left in the world.

3. Hike to Angel Landing in Utah’s Zion National Park

You won’t want to be uneasy on your feet when attempting to hike to Angels Landing in Utah‘s Zion National Park. This 5-mile hike is not for those afraid of heights: The last half mile of the hike is full of extreme drop offs, narrow paths and chains to help you up.

4. Explore New Zealand by Campervan

Rent a minivan and explore New Zealand. The best way to see this island nation is to rent a campervan that literally doubles as your home. Campervans convert into a little studio apartment equipped with full-size bed and a kitchen. Wake up at some of the most epic campsites in New Zealand.

5. Trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp  in Nepal

They call it a trek for a reason. Most companies make the journey to Nepal‘s Mt Everest Base Camp over a 12-day period. it’s a challenge for all that attempt this hike, but it’s one of the most rewarding treks in the world. It will be well worth it when you reach base camp 17,598 feet above sea level. But you then realize you have four days left in the trek to make your way back down…

6. Party ’til 5 am in Las Vegas

8. Koh Phangan Full Moon Party

Party animals unite in Thailand on Koh Phangan, home of the famous Full Moon Party. Anything goes on Koh Phangan, and this party will be nonstop until early in the morning. Think fire throwing, ridiculous amounts of alcohol, skimpy outfits, body paint, you won’t believe what your eyes are seeing.

9. Run with the bulls in Pamplona Spain

You’ll need to be fit and totally mobile for Spain’s annual running of the bulls in Pamplona, so you might want to get this one on the books sooner rather than later. Test your courage and primal survival skills at Pamplona’s famous Fiesta de San Fermin held every July.
