Though the Park Place Luxury and Supercar Showcase is, at its core, a luxury car show, it ultimately aims to celebrate all the finer things in life. Here you can expect to see the performance cars of yesterday as well as the supercars of today. The Park Place Luxury and Supercar Showcase celebration also includes a fashion show, pop-up shopping and a beer garden. EyesOn Design Automotive Design Exhibit – Grosse Pointe, MI: June 2019

Though held in a more conventional environment than some of the other shows on the list, this show in Grosse Pointe still pulls in a lot of interesting finds. The focus here is more on design than performance or collectibility, and that’s certainly reflected in the cars on display. Anyone who appreciates great automotive design will enjoy the selections here. Vintage lovers especially will appreciate the many elegant cars that make their way to this show at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford house. Though it has close ties to Ford, the EyesOn Design show welcomes between 200 and 300 vehicles each year from a wide range of eras and brands. It’s an upscale environment complete with a brunch, as well as numerous panels and exhibits. The show is judged by former designers from leading auto brands. EyesOn Design has become a Father’s Day weekend tradition in Michigan, running for more than 30 years.

Amelia Island Concours D’Elegance in Amelia Island, FL: March 7-10, 2019

The Amelia Island Concours is on par with Pebble Beach in terms of notoriety. Each year, dozens and dozens of beautiful cars flock to this island town just north of Jacksonville. It’s not uncommon to see some of today’s most incredible supercars alongside the classics of yesteryear. So if you want to see a vintage Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing next to a Porsche Martini Racing, this is the show for you. One of the highlights of the 2018 installment was the $2.5 million Mercedes AMG Project One Hypercar. In other words, this Concours is not for the faint of heart.

Of course, just like the vehicles they showcase, these shows can cost a pretty penny. But if you’re a true car enthusiast, it’s worth saving up for the opportunity to be in the presence of so many pristine driving machines.
