Riu Cancun All Inclusive

Stay at the Riu Cancun All Inclusive, a luxurous and budget-friendly resort.

By Nina Gass

When planning a cheap Mexico vacation for our family, I often find that packages provide the greatest value. For the beach vacations we love –how could you go wrong with a Cancun vacation–we opt for a flight plus hotel package that mmight also include excursions or tours.

From there, we usually narrow our selection down to an all-inclusive resort, especially if we don’t plan on driving much. Most of these hotels offer a wide selection of restaurants on-site where our food and beverages are included, saving you big bucks. Check out these Cancun vacation hot-spots for your family:

  • The views at Riu Cancun prove that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to have a prime spot on the Mexican Riviera. The value-adds at this place are seemingly endless: four pools, five bars, four restaurants, daily activities for adults and kids, gym, spa, a nightclub, and free beach umbrellas and towels. More entertainment, dining and shopping are in the same area, saving you money on transport!
  • The fact that kids 12 and younger eat free at this hotel and room rates are often slashed by up to 60% make Avalon Reef Club Isla Mujeres a pretty cheap Mexico vacation. And, to sweeten the deal, it is situated on a private island sanctuary only accessible by ferry. This has to be one of the best beachvacations we have ever had for the privacy and amenities. I felt like a castaway except one that had the luxury of amazing staff taking care of my every need. Robinson Crusoe would certainly be jealous!

A trip to Mexico can also  make for an unforgettable romantic getaway. A respite in Cancun is great way to celebrate a new-found match or a toast to years of romance.

  • It’s hard to fight off the urge to stay at Temptation Resort and Spa where you can easily let go of inhibitions. This is the place to let your hair down and enjoy the party atmosphere. Some rooms offer private Jacuzzis, but the resort also has seven outdoor public Jacuzzis, three swimming pools, gym, day spa, sports and video bar, adult-oriented daily activities, and six restaurants that also cater to vegetarians.
  • ME by Melia Cancun is another kid-free zone that offers the value of an all-inclusive hotel with savings throughout the year. Some notable features include free pre-tuned iPods, one of the largest infinity pools in Mexico, and Asian-inspired cuisine. If you are thinking of getting married in Mexico, this resort has incredibe deals on wedding packages that include everything from the minister to the flowers and the wedding cake.
