Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and if you’re still hunting for the perfect present for that special lady in your life — be it your mom, sweetie, sister, or other great gal — what better gift than a relaxing cruise to a fabulous destination (or several fabulous destinations)? There are literally tons of cruise itineraries and vacations to choose from, but here’s a few show stoppers definitely worth a look.

(1) 6-Night Southern Caribbean: While many Caribbean cruises focus on the Eastern and Western portions, the Southern Caribbean has gorgeous islands with lots of historic charm. On this trip, you’ll stop first in sleepy St. Croix; take a scenic horseback ride or an exciting scuba dive. Then, beach it up in St. John’s, Antigua, before checking out the drive-up volcano (yes, you read that right) on St. Lucia. End your trip by exploring the amazing plant and animal life at the Nature Reserve on St. Kitts.

(2) 10-Night Panama Canal Adventure Westbound: Cruise on the wild side with this sailing, where you can shop ’til you drop in the vibrant port of Ocho Rios, Jamaica before passing through the magnificent Panama Canal. You can go waterskiing or just lounge on the sand in Puntarenas, Costa Rica, and enjoy the quaint villages of San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua and Huatulco, Mexico.

(3) 7-Night Western Mediterranean: Start your European adventure by wandering through the parks, museums, and cathedrals of Barcelona, Spain before making a bet or two at the famed casino in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Save room for the rich culture — and cuisine — of Florence, Pisa, Naples, and Rome, Italy. Your final stop, Palma de Mallorca in Spain’s Balearic Islands, is perfect for exploring on foot, and full of historic architecture, as well as unique shops and restaurants.

(4) 10-Night Polynesia: You’ll begin this exotic tropical getaway in Papeete, Tahiti. Sit and sip at a sidewalk cafe, or buy fresh fish, fruit, or flowers at the Marche du Papeete, before sailing on to French Polynesia. Get a taste for French food or authentic Tahitian vanilla on Raiatea, and if you’re brave, try feeding the sharks and rays off of Bora Bora. Finally, take in the stunning view of the mountainous island of Moorea from Belvedere Lookout.

(5) 8-Night Mexican Riviera: Enjoy the renowned beach party paradise of Acapulco while watching an entertaining cliff diving performance. Try out the much-celebrated surf on the coastline near Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa, and even go on a zipline excursion over the treetops in nearby Troncones. Fishing and kayaking are just some of the popular activities you’ll find when you stop in Manzanillo.

Beyond what you see here, there are so many more distinctive cruises to fit almost every personality, interest, and style. If the above itineraries aren’t just right, all it takes is a little research to find one that’s completely perfect!
