Waterfront vacation home with kitchen and balcony
Sunnyside Up is a true owner-managed beach rental with no extra fees. Luxurious town home, tastefully furnished with great ocean views. Comfortably accommodates 2 families with children. Sleeps 9 adults, just 60 yards from the surf. Sunnyside Up has everything you'll need for your Island Vacation. Pool, Beach toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, foosball table, Sony Playstation, 4 wide screen flat panel LCD TVs, 2 DVD Players, and wireless internet access, are at the disposal of the guests. Arriving at 'Sunnyside Up', you will find covered parking for 2 vehicles under the unit and an outdoor enclosed hot/cold shower to rinse off after a long day at the beach. You can see your kids in the pool from both of your balconies. Our returning guests will notice numerous recent updates and upgrades that we are certain you will appreciate. The first floor of Sunnyside Up features a downstairs entrance lounge with large flat screen TV with Amazon Fire for the kids to enjoy, and a full sized futon/couch. There are 2 master bedroom suites flanking the lounge area. A sliding glass door takes you to the outdoor deck with ocean view. The ocean front bedroom has a king size bed and its own private bath/shower and an LCD TV. An open window at night will bring in the sound of the pounding surf. The 'soundside' bedroom has 2 twin beds as well as its own private bath/shower. Continuing upstairs brings you past the laundry area at the landing with a washer/dryer, then up to second floor to the kitchen, dining and living room area. The kitchen comes with all new stainless appliances, granite countertops and solid maple cabinets. There is a gorgeous ocean view from the windows in the kitchen and living room. We have a large dining area set off the kitchen as well with an open floor plan continuing into the living room with cathedral ceilings. The living room also has a large LCD TV opposite an L-shaped couch that seats 5 and a sofa chair. Large windows with transoms take full advantage of the ocean views from the living room, and there is access to our oceanfront deck off the living room. Also on the second floor is yet another master suite with a queen size bed and private bath/shower with a jet tub. On the landing to the 3rd floor is a small half bath. On the 3rd floor/loft, there is a Double/twin bunk bed, another great an ocean view to the front, and sound view to the rear, and a Foosball table for the family to enjoy. The pool is generally open from mid-May through mid-to-late September. A great property to enjoy a getaway with family or friends, 'Sunnyside Up' is sure to satisfy. Don't forget, this is a beach property that considers dogs with responsible pet owners. So there may be no need to leave those 4-legged family members behind. Across the side street is a very convenient public playground with swings and other children’s attractions. Across the front street is a well stocked mini mart convenience store.     Great Family Vacation Rental

    This was my family’s first vacation on Topsail island and using HomeAway! This townhouse had everything we were looking for and needed! Plenty of room to accommodate my family and my sister’s (total 4 adults, 6 kids, ages 2-11) and my dog!!! Kids loved the loft room. All beds/rooms were comfortable. Great view of the ocean from the balcony. Super short walk across a small street to the beach (the kids never complained about the walk!) Stairs were not an issues either:) The beach was quiet, never crowded. The beach chairs at the house could be worn as a backpack so hands were free to carry everything else. The pool was great after a day at the beach. There is a little convenient store across the street, that we visited daily. Chris was a great host and easily available for any questions. We definitely had wonderful vacation!

      Very nice property with plenty of room

      We recently stayed in Surf City along with my brother in law and his family and we found the property to be spacious enough to accommodate the 8 of us along with our dog. Very convenient to the beach and restaurants however far enough removed from the crowds.

        Very nice property, well appointed, great location

        We came down the week before Memorial Day to enjoy the weather and beach with our pooch. The weather started iffy but got better as time went by. Very good location - easy walk to beach, 2 miles from the main area of Surf City, across the street from a convenience store and two local bars. I would recommend this to couples or small families looking for a fun, minimal hassle rental (comes with linens, lots of spices in the pantry, extra books and movies to use when the weather isnt cooperating

            We had a great time!

            Stayed here for a girls weekend and a wonderful time. After booking the trip one of my friends changed her plans and wanted to come 2 days early. Contacted the owner who was very flexible. The townhome is beautiful, has a well stocked kitchen and awesome view. Would definitely stay there again.
