Pretty Sad Motel
This hotel is decaying rapidly. I’ve stayed here in the past, but this time it was just bad. First, carpets are filthy. I mean black with filth. First room carpet was ripped up in multiple spots next to maintenance room. We asked to move. Moved to 325. Carpet wasn’t ripped, but still filthy. Stains on walls. Bathroom door knob was broken, so that door didn’t close unless you held it shut, so everybody can watch you do your business. Windows in corner room were not locked. Had to climb on the dresser to lock it. Also safety latch to door was very loose. Could easily be kicked in. Probably someone tried already. Some outlets didn’t work. Fridge was also not working. Went first night to ask them to replace it. Was asked, how long are you staying? Do you have food? What does it matter I’m paying you for that amenity. Said they would send someone in the morning, but didn’t and had to be questioned again. But the nice maintenance person did come and switch it out eventually. Basically don’t pay more than $80 for a room here. I paid about $130/night in the end, and I think you can book some hotels that are in the area for maybe $10-$20 more and get a dramatic increase in quality. I dont expect much mostly fro but things like a decent carpet, working amenities and doorknobs are pretty easy to provide, it’s just an obvious lack of interest in maintaining the hotel in the least.
