Super cute, quiet, comfortable lodging with great proximity to Sleeping Bear Dunes NL. We slept very well, shower had great water pressure, the grounds look fun for other activities (fire pit, volleyball), and the staff is incredibly friendly. Will stay again when back in the area!

M22 Empire was a quaint, quiet place right off M22 with Glen Lake being right there. Good location. Staff encountered was friendly on the property. The place overall was a bit disappointing for a total price of 225 per night to have a “pet friendly” room. We unloaded and went out after a long day of travel right up the road to get dinner, and the dog was in the room. Before we returned we were called by staff that the dog was barking and we needed to take care of it. We only were gone just over an hour. This put a damper on the remainder of the trip, and we did not go out to do as many activities as a family because we could only do things where the dog with us, as we didnt want the staff calling us the whole stay because our dog barks when people walk past. The rooms were clean and ours had a kitchenette which was nice for our small children. Overall, very outdated property with no in-room wifi. I think the pricing is way too high for the offerings and we did not get the hotels.com advertised price for this room.

There wasn't a closet or even a hook so I could hang up my clothes. Staff was friendly.
