Beachfront cottage for sun and fun
The Bluestone Cottage in Leland, which sleeps 10-12, is within a 5-8 min walk to Lake Michigan and the center of Leland with Historic Fishtown, cute shops and cafes. You'll love the decor, the bedroom layout (good for multiple families/couples), the back deck for grilling, and the front porch for morning coffee. If you are coming to Leelanau in the winter season, we are delighted to host you. Leland is dressed up for the holidays and the excellent restaurants -- The Riverside Inn, The Cove and our family friendly Bluebird are all open. Leland is near xc skiing trails and snowshoe hikes. Many wineries are open and have roaring fireplaces to welcome you in. The Homestead is a 20 minute drive for downhill skiing for all ages. Our gas fireplace in the Master Bedroom is a cozy place to watch the snow fall on lazy winter mornings. We are right on the wine trail, as described in Travel & Leisure, Leelanau, “best known for cherries, sprawling sand dunes, massive blue lakes, and bucolic scenery may just be America’s next great wine touring region”. We are open all year round for wine tasting, biking, shopping or golf weekends.     The home was inviting when our group opened the door. It was well stocked with everything you would need and location was perfect. It was a great place for a girls’ get away!

          Fabulous location in Leland!

          There were 10 of us that stayed in this house and it was a wonderful location in Leland. 1/2 mile walk into town, no need to drive everywhere. Small mercantile in town to buy some groceries and drinks. Lots of beds to accommodate everyone and we loved sitting out on the front porch. Would stay again!
