    Do not book!!!!!

    Terrible!!!! Do not book with this place unless you like the prospect of having a heart attack at the start of your holiday! Booked three months in advance, called on the day to get checked in and no one answers, get four different numbers the last one goes to voicemail! Of course panic station by this point called hotels.com who tired the same thing again no answer, Let’s fast forward three hours on the phone, having three panic attacks, hotels.com got me another room not the same thing of course, person I was speaking to was very good however, the panic and headache was not compensated and I had to downgrade my room type. DO NOT BOOK!!!!

    The owner threatened to unilaterally cancel the booking as I stood on the street outside with my bags in the rain because he deemed that I was being rude. This was after I objected to their demand to send a picture of my driving licence to a random mobile number over text message as ‘security’. The door codes are the same as they have been for 2 years and the front door was open when I went in. The place is not secure and if you are a woman alone I would not book. The sofa is broken, and has been so for the whole time I have stayed here. These apartments are well located and good value but the managers attitude was a disgrace and not lawful either.

    Literally i loved everything and i will definitely be booking again! However a few things need doing! Firstly, the heater in the bedroom wasn't working so the room was FREEZING at night! The shower had clogged as there was an insane amount of hair stuck and i had to remove them, awful. The kitchen had a sofa that was VOMPLETELY destroyed! No chance of being able to sit it was broken. Apart from that the stay was okay nothing bad, it was quite expensive for each night for a place that has damaged things like that.

    SO much potential - but ultimately very poor :(

    I turned up to find the apartment not cleaned from the previous occupants - the customer tram refunded the nights stay but weren’t hugely apologetic and were quite matter of fact about it, blaming others for the confusion. The shower is also absolutely terrible - just trickles out / zero pressure... not great at all. Such a shame as the general apartment is fantastic and great quality, plus location is very central and close to the centre.

    Overall the stay in Apartment 1 of the Staines Angel Apartments was fantastic. But there were some issues. Pros It's very centrally located! (this is also a con. see below) Parking is readily available, but costs up to 12 pounds a day. It's BIG by European standards. 3 bedrooms with a King Bed, Queen bed and double bed. A washing machine in the apartment. Enough said. The 3 bedroom is only one flight of stairs up Now to the cons.... It's noisy. ESPECIALLY on Friday and sat nights. You are literally right over a pub. People smoke outside and it comes into the apartment. The furniture is not sturdy and the couch in the living room is broken. There is no clothes dryer (to accompany the washer) in the apartment The HUGE stacks of laundry right in the interior door taking up all the foyer space and making it hard to get in. This is not just left behind by the cleaning people, but stored here. It got BIGGER in the 7 days I stayed here. It takes up a lot of space in a very narrow passage. The apartment wasn't overly clean when we got there. There was standing water in the tub (that didn't look clean) and there were several dirty dishes in the sink. Again, not a deal breaker, but something that should be addressed. Overall it was a great stay and for what it is, I would stay there again!
