Four of us were able to reserve two adjoining rooms which appeared to be the last lodging available in Silverton. We felt so lucky. The price was reasonable, the historic inn had so much more appeal than a Motel 6, and the proprietor was friendly, helpful, and accommodating and also had interesting stories to tell about the inn and its history. We needed to leave early in the morning to start our backpack trip and when she realized we would miss breakfast, she offered to provide breakfast burritos in the fridge for us to heat up. I was the only one to use the hot tub - and I loved it. The experience was wonderful in every way.
