The way such an old property had been restored. It was a rare pleasure to be able to stay in such an historic property.

The property has no parking of it own. It is possible to park expensively outside, or in a nearby private car park at £10 / day. Staff were welcoming and friendly. As one might expect in a building f this age, the bedroom was a little small.

Lovely historic property. Breakfast was a very high quality as was dinner. Booked the lime suite but layout was really odd. Bedroom was too small with nowhere to hang anything up and no drawers to put clothes in. Had to put clothes in the strange lounge area but there was nothing to put them on so ended up with them on the floor. Kitchen area is completely pointless and only provided a flat surface to put a bag on. When asking about where to hang clothes we were shown the under stairs cupboard which had a do not open sign on it. Bathroom and shower were good. Overall the room was very disappointing compared to the lovely building. Staff tried to justify the poor layout. Really nice place to visit and people walked in and looked around but do not stay in the lime suite!
