Our trip started out great. The hotel is in an old, charming building with a very nice lobby. It is in a great location too, walking distance to the river, shopping, and restaurants. Every night there is a wine reception with cheese. Our room was comfortable with a shower that had great water pressure. Breakfast was included, but was a little disappointing. There were a couple of cold cereals, a variety of breads, yogurt, sausage, and eggs that seemed to be made from a mix. The breakfast room was very cold every morning. The real problem was with the elevators, which seemed not to work much of the time. We were on the seventh floor, and many times while going up, the elevator would stop at every floor even when know one was there. More than once we had to take the stairs because the elevator never came. But to top it all off, when we were ready to check out, we waited for thirty minutes on the seventh floor with several other guests for the elevator to come. We all had luggage so it would have been hard to walk down the stairs. We called the front desk several times asking for help and no one ever came. After thirty minutes, we walked down seven flights of stairs with luggage. Once we got to the bottom, we were told the elevators weren't working. They never even tried to help us with the luggage. If anyone has any kind of mobility issues, climbing stairs, etc., I do not recommend this hotel, because you cannot count on the elevator working.
