"Our check-in was lovely. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and given the run-down of how to get into our room, the availability of snacks and coffee, and what to do if we need help after hours. The room was spotless and incredibly well updated. It felt very high end for a privately-owned hotel. The water pressure in the shower was great and the water stays hot. We’ll definitely stay again if we’re back in the area."

"Big enough space so everyone has their own sleeping area. Kitchen and eating area very suitable for our size of group. Outdoor space tranquil plenty sign of wildlife. Ice fishing on the pond was a success. Neighbors and folks out on the ice were very friendly. Good location to many stores and all the lakes region attractions. Great time had by all. Host was very communicative prior and during our stay."

"This is an amazing house in a great location, perfect for a group stay for a wedding or a retreat group like mine. Lots of room to spread out, comfortable bedrooms, big gathering spaces inside and out. The vibe is casual and comfortable, with everything you need to make yourself at home. Perfect place for weddings nearby at Bald Peak, Castle in the Clouds or even in Wolfeboro if you hire JCN transportation to drive you back after a reception ( drinking). Also close to Meredith, or even a wedding at Rockywold Deephaven on Squam ( again- hire a driver!). We used the house for a retreat for women 55+, and we loved the two dining rooms and two living rooms. Shannon was a wonderful owner to work with and her cleaning crew was responsive to one request. There is a property manager on site in a different house, which is also nice if something comes up. We are using this house again in October for another women's retreat, and I can't wait!"
