This was the perfect spot for our extended family's Cedar Point meet up. I actually chose it because Grandpa needs to sleep in a recliner instead of a bed. It's not remote-controlled, so we still had to help him up, but the recliners are large and comfortable. The wheelchair fit comfortably in the house, and we only had to struggle with one step into the home.
The rest of us had plenty of bedrooms and space to hang out. It's a solid farmhouse. Loved the entry mudroom! The wifi was good. Grandpa had his TV stations. The kitchen was large and homey, and we had a great time around the table. We built a bonfire and played cornhole. It is set between a cornfield and a busy thoroughfare, but far enough off the road to feel safe and not be distracted by the noise.
I am only 5'0 and could not see anything but the top of my head in the bathroom mirrors, and it's always annoying to stay in a place designed for giants, but I'm not into primping, so it was more humorous than anything else. It was a perfect retreat after long days at Kalahari and Cedar Point.
