The room was pretty average, clean beds, shower could do with an upgrade and/or pressure increase. Could hear the people in rooms next door and above walking about. When we arrived it was about 1030pm and even though I emailed to say we would be arriving late (didn’t even get a reply) it took three attempts on the bell until the reception guy came and greeted us at the night time window-and he could clearly see it was cold and raining but didn’t invite us in after I gave him my ID and credit card. So I insisted and he finally let us in. Check out was just as worse as I wanted an invoice so when we left at 0830 which I don’t think is mega early, we again rang the bell and we clearly woke him up from the look on his face, and he took 15 minutes to turn the computer on and print an invoice-strange how the hotel advertises 24hour front desk but it takes them as long to sort anything out. Also the place stunk of curry (as I know there is attached restaurant) but clearly no air filter in the air con/system. Wasn’t a great stay and would not recommend or be back from just the terrible service from check in alone.
