Good price but thats about it

Price was on point, but elevator wasnt working upon arrival and had to take large luggage ip 2 flights of stairs (no offer to help by staff). Several repainting and updates made hotel look in a state of constructuon. Overall, building looks old and the appearance matches. Bathroom had previous guests leftover soap still in tub and icecream i fridge.

This is by far the worst hotel where I've ever stayed. The room was dirty to a ridiculous level (and no bed sheets), the personnel was utterly incompetent, and the neighborhood felt completely unsafe. To anyone who's reading this: I know that all hotels in San Francisco are incredibly expensive, but, trust me, stay in one of those.

Well, I'm grateful that the agent at front desk upgraded my room from double room to standard room, otherwise this would be totally one star. Pros: good location. Cons: it does not look like in the pictures! We stayed there for 7 days, but we only have shampoo and soap from the very first day. No replenishment even we asked many times. We have to ask every day to clean room and for clean towels. But even we did ask everyday, they did not clean rooms and bring clean towels every day as we asked. Heater is not working properly too.

    False Advertising

Not sure where or when these pics were taken but definitely not anytime recently. Nothing was as pictured. Room was filthy. Was supposed to be a nice mother/daughter trip and my daughter was afraid to even be there! Bed linens stained and not washed, floor hadn't been vacuumed in who knows how long, extension cords and wires all over the room and hallway. Busted window blinds and door lock. Needless to say, we did not stay there. Asked for a refund since we literally walked in and out but they refused. Thankful for for working with me and giving me a coupon to use in the future.

The pictures are not what you actually get. The elevator wasn’t working, so we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. We had to complain several times before they turned on the heater. Our room door wouldn’t lock so we had to complain and got switched to a new room, but they moved our items so that was nice. They were working on painting and other renovation work so it was loud and smelled like paint. The location was good, next to the BART. You could walk to some nice areas with 10-15 minutes. It’s an “okay” location to stay if you really only want somewhere to sleep and shower. Other than that, don’t expect too much from this place.
