Regular Guest Becoming Disappointed
I have been staying at the Downtown Salt Lake City Radisson several times a year for about a decade. I have generally been very pleased with the service, rooms, location, and hotel amenities, including a great fitness center. However, in recent stays I’ve noticed several disappointing changes. The sundries cafe has been shuttered on my last few visits, leaving little choice for a quick breakfast but to drive or walk to options blocks away. I’ve also had to ask for water restocking, which was always an included amenity. And, the chain has recently switched toiletry products to a lower quality offering. All summed up, these changes appear to be cost saving measures. But. they aren’t going unnoticed my regular guests. All that said, the staff is still terrific, the hotel restaurant offers a nice opportunity to grab food and drinks in the evening, and there is the well-equipped fitness center.
