Location location location . Monti is a great area. VIa Urbana is a vibrant street with lots yo do close by. Conveniance market two doors down is conveniant. Staff is extremely accomadating and polite. Most comfortable bed of any hotel we have ever stayed in. Very clean hotel. Only complaint was the small shower with jacuzzi jets. But we excepted the challenge. All in all very satisfied.

The room was always cleaned, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was great and the gal who tended the breakfast was always cheerful and very kind. This location is close to buses and the metro.

Excellent - well worth a stay.

It was lovely - our second honeymoon in Rome, (first was a year ago), wedding anniversary, Christmas, so very romantic, & Hotel Raffaello was the perfect place to stay. In the heart of our favourite district Monti, we had a lovely roof terrace, and our room was excellent. An unusual (to us) extra was free use of a smartphone, waiting for us on our arrival in our room - so useful to us in our jaunts around Rome, & on our day trip to Florence. We’d done all the touristy things last year, just wanted to get to know more of the city, & the smartphone really helped. Final lovely touch - a Christmas tree bauble marked with the hotel name - on our Christmas tree now for always, with very happy memories.

Smallest bathroom and shower in a hotel room ever. You can barely stand in the shower booth and cannot really bend to reach your legs to clean them. Water isn’t that hot at all, while it wasn’t cold water, either. Bathroom door doesn’t even fully open as it hits the toilette in the middle of the swing. There is no temperature control and they turn on the radiator at 7pm and it is quite weak and the room is cold over night. (The radiator In one section of the family room that we used is behind the curtain and it doesn’t really radiate much of heat to the room at all.) Breakfast is better than La Quinta or Best Western Inn in the US, but much less quality and variety than 4 other hotels that we stayed in Italy during this trip (all of the others were cheaper than Raffaelo). Location is not that great, either. (20-40min walking distance from most of the attractions and the metro station isn’t close either.)3 It was the most expensive and least satisfying hotel from our Italy trip. I don’t recommend it.
