    ot what expected

Finding the entrance to your hotel, not good. Attached ramp excellent, price for ramp $16 a day, unexceptional! Not aware of construction! Jackhammering during day, horrible. Location great! Room, meh! Cost, good. Will we come back?, would love to after construction and when you validate for parking like you do for the towers!

Our first room was not cleaned yet. They promptly put us in another room. Construction going on inside, which is very much needed. Very outdated and cramped. Bathroom very old and looked like it could have used more cleaning. Overall not happy

Renovations underway yet still clean and comfy

While the hotel is undergoing extensive renovations, the construction did not impede our visit. Our room was obviously on the floor next for renovation, as it was very dated, but it was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. Great food in the restaurant as well.

    Just a bad experience

We’ve stayed at the Kahler a couple Times before while visiting The Mayo Clinic, and it’s never been a luxurious experience, but good enough for a 1-2 night stay. However, this time was much worse than anytime before, and honestly worse than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We checked in, and they gave us a letter stating they were doing renovations at the time. This was something I wish we would’ve know BEFORE booking The Kahler. Walking down the halls there were tons of exposed electrical wires just hanging down. My husband even had to duck his head a couple times due to the low hanging wires. The entire hotel was tore up. Our room was so tiny, and I felt like it wasn’t cleaned very well. We had ordered room service and the total was $14, and they racked on an extra $15 worth of fees. I asked why the next morning and they couldn’t tell me, and didn’t do anything about it. All in all, this was just a horrible experience, and we won’t be staying here again. So gross
