The hotel is in a good location and the amenities are excellent, including the pool, spa and bar area.
Having booked a standard double room, we were allocated a room overlooking the pool / car park which was good. The room had electric blinds which we closed on the first night, as there are no blackout curtains. The problem came the next morning, as the blinds did not open, and we spent Saturday and Sunday in a room with predominantly no window, even though the problem was reported immediately. We were eventually moved to another room, which turned out to be a small single room which was far from ideal for two people.
We were informed that the hotel did not have a maintenance engineer at the weekend, albeit on the Saturday morning informed the problem would be fixed that day.
Having booked a three night break at the hotel, the issue of no natural light, multiple visits to reception and having to move to a single room spoilt our holiday and let down the hotel.
