I have never been to a Country Inn and Suites so I didn’t know what to expect. It has a 3 star rating which seems mostly appropriate. At first glance the place looks very nice. There is coffee and cookies in the lobby and the staff were very pleasant.
The room is pretty average but it could use some repairs (lots of handles and door stops were broken or falling off). The bed was big and looked nice but the carpet had not been vacuumed. I had a 9 month old with me who wanted to crawl around and he kept picking up dirt and at one point a pill off the floor. Also, the bathtub had a couple of strands of hair in it which was a bit gross. The bathroom did have plenty of towels and hot water so it was bearable for the one night stop over.
The indoor pool was small but great for just my family. It could use some tlc for sure. The shower for the pool is right on the deck and it did have a lift for individuals with wheelchairs. Make sure to bring swim towels.
They did offer complimentary breakfast until 9:30 am. It had a pretty standard offering of cereals, waffles and the hot table included eggs, sausage and potatoes. Not great but sufficient. We got down at 9:10 and the lady that worked there was not happy to see us. She kept staring at the clock. I know we were close to the end time but the baby had a rough night and was taking a nap and everyone knows you never wake up a sleeping baby.
I would recommend it for a quick stop over if absolutely necessary.
