Workers seemed bothered when you asked for something. There was no toilet paper in room and I all I did was ask and I got attitude

So BAD La Quinta should Shut Down!

This was the worst hotel experience we ever had. We stayed 2 nights and paid over $300 per night so this was not a cheap motel. The place was highly understaffed and nobody other than the front desk spoke English; the workers seemed nice and hardworking but could not communicate with us and clearly overworked. We asked for towels and waited 2 hours to be told that they don't have any left. We were told that the place was at full capacity and they just didn't have any more. What appeared to be out of frustration, one worker who did not speak any English was showing me dirty towels to indicate that's all they have left. We left around 11:30 and came back 4 to find the room was still not cleaned! We noticed other guests complaining and highly frustrated as well since several came on a sports event with teenage kids and after a long hot day playing in the sun, rooms were not cleaned, there were no towels and several could not access their room as the keys were deactivated. Complete disaster! breakfast which was included with the room was a joke and workers were anxious to get people out quickly so the food disappeared even before 9 am. We understood this was not a 5 star hotel when we booked but basic necessities were not provided, such as clean towels, adequate shampoo/conditioners, no lotion and one bed did not have the fitted sheet. When they did finally clean, they merely took out the trash, made the beds (did NOT change sheets) and somewhat wiped the bathroom!

The checking line was long, because the old man in the front desk was super slow and look He don't know much. Nobody friendly. Never get the WiFi...
