Great little self contained modern cottages

Great little self contained cottages. Comfortable bed, small living room with kitchenette and functional bathrooms - perfect for a couple. At Icelandic prices, it is the best value for money place we stayed at. There are no restaurants right nearby (it's a 5-10 min drive to Skogar) but we cooked in the kitchen. Nice views of a big glacier. There is not much service- it's self check in, and the daily clean appears to be just emptying of bins and provision of new towels, but it was enough for us.

Having a Tiny House is somehow cool. Convenient location. The communication was great - we arrived shortly before 10pm, and the code still worked (works until 11pm they say). So check-in after 9pm is possible! The house itself is nice - enough space for two people. Bathroom was surprisingly good. Kitchen too. The only thing we missed was a little bit of decor - some small standing lamp in the bedroom would add more coziness. And the sofa in the "living room" should be replaced by a more good looking couch. But all in all: we would book it again!
