On our way to the VRBO in the car on Friday at 12:51pm the host Emanuel sent me a message saying our VRBO has been “double booked”. The Emanuel then said he had another place for us but kept ignoring our question of where it was and never actually sent a place. While we were on the phone with VRBO to see what options we had available to us, Emanual CANCELED our booking. He stated “broke house rules” so it looks like a reflection on us. I have proof of all the correspondence and was completely lied to about a 2nd location and reason for cancellation. It was NC State’s parents weekend in Raleigh and everything was sold out and booked. We had to pay for two hotel rooms which cost significantly more. I would never book with this person. He is irresponsible and did not handle the situation appropriately.
