"The hotel was beautiful. The people were friendly and the most helpful. I have two things to complain about. One I think the staff that are serving the buffet should be wearing disposable gloves. And I think that as a smoker they should have more smoke stations. I understand everybody doesn't smoke but it should be just as comfortable for the smokers as it is for the drinkers. After all we are paying the same price for our stay there. Other than that the stay was pleasant and the service was great."

"I liked that you could use amenities prior to check in & they have showers available if just arriving and can’t get your room yet. Plus they had golf carts that would give you rides to your destinations in the hotel."

"We got to Playa and the Budget rental car did not have a car for us. Melonie, the property owner, was able to connect us with a car in about an hour! She helped us also plan a snorkeling excursion and gave us advice on cenotes to visit. The food was great! The people were awesome. Staying in the jungle off the beaten path was a great experience for the entire family. We will definitely be back!!!"

"This place is a one of a kind! The lady greeting us was incredibly hospitable and went way out of her way to accommodate our early checkout by providing us bag breakfast for the road! She made a special trip out to our cabin to bring blankets and to check if we had power when there was a brief outage. We felt very welcomed!!! So peaceful to wake up to the sound of birds and other jungle creatures. Cabin is rustic, cozy, and comfortable. Wish we could have spent longer here. "
