    This is an exclusive Tentrr site. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Each Tentrr Signature site includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find a queen-size single or bunk bed inside. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. If you're camping with a larger party, the site also has a 5-person dome tent that you can easily set up for extra sleeping space. The Tentrr - Downing Wood Campsite is a beautiful Hudson Valley woodland retreat, nestled in a historic area. 55 miles from NYC, and only 1 mile from the Appalachian Trail! 20 minute drive from the scenic and charming town of Cold Spring and its exquisite dining, shopping and cultural events; 30 minutes to Beacon. If you're coming up from the city, take Metro North to Garrison and your CampKeeper will pick you up (see Campsite Extras below). You'll just need to let us know your train info 24 hours beforehand.
