Come for the veiw but not the pool
My teenagers and I had a great time. The house was clean and there was enough linins and such. The kitchen is stocked with enough dishes to host a huge party. The place is sunny and inviting and watching the sun set from the yard over looking the canal was perfect. Be warned though that supplies are likly whats left after the previous guest (like only one spare roll of tp, only a few drops of dish soap) so be prepared to buy the same supplys you would at home. Its not a big deal if your awear of this so plan with this in mind. If you just want a safe spot to sleep and eat in a quiet neighbourhood while you see Flordia this is the place for you! If the pool is a big part of wanting to book here keep reading. The photos in the listing are old. If nothing else than the trees being many years of growth beyond the photos, the pool looks nothing like advertised. It shows signs of cracks being filled, tile damage, and one side looks as if the ground has shifted inward. The pools beautiful tile has been sealed/sprayed along with the patio, a baige. The sealant is flaking off. Its obvious the hard pool water needs to be drained and start from new. If your not up on pools, the storms and hours of sun and heat that Florida provides makes it easy for algae to bloom practically overnight. The pool is maintained on Tuesdays so if you check in on a weekend after a stormy week you will probably have a green pool. It took two days and an extra service call to nix the algae. Dont swim in it even with Lise tells you its okay because its natural. Its not.
