      Lovely waterside getaway

The cottage is charming and comfortable. It is set amidst an RV campsite, but has private decks and a pretty garden overlooking the water with a fire pit and well equipped kitchen. We had a very enjoyable stay.

        Beautiful Beachcomber

Our family spent 2 nights in this cute beachcomber cottage. The property is on the Straight of Juan De Fuca and has gorgeous views of the water and Canadian mountain ranges. Walking down to the beach in the morning was so peaceful and really fun for our children. The cottage decor is so unique, it was evident that someone put a lot of heart into it. We would definitely stay here again! Rachael and Tim are friendly and easy to talk to.

          Beautiful and cozy

It’s was beautiful, the view was incredible..very quiet and you can hear the ocean from inside...the only thing I would say to prepare for is making sure you know how to make a fire and keep it going so you don’t wake up cold lol..definitely coming back

I'm not quite sure how to rate this cabin - it's cute, clean, quirky but has a couple of issues. Pros: Spotlessly clean, well-equipped kitchen, great woodstove, plenty of free firewood, large living room and deck, plenty of hot water, spacious bathroom. Cons: the photos make it look like it overlooks the water with nothing between the cabin and the shore. In reality, there are numerous RVs and tents between you and the shoreline. The view is of the RV campground, with the sound in the distance. The RV next to the cabin is very close, and the path to the beach runs right by the deck of the cabin. Also, there is no door or curtain on the main bedroom. A curtain across the doorway would be a quick, cheap fix. The cabin is rustic and cute, but the price is rather high for what it is, we thought.

Beautiful location that really allows you to get away from everything. The cottage is cute and great for a family or a couple. Our hosts made check-in a breeze and provided excellent directions. Would definitely want to return.
