You are going to love this place! Located just outside the quaint little town of Joyce, WA, Whiskey Creek Beach NW is a quiet and remote get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy all the best of what the PNW has to offer. Within 3 hrs of Seattle and Portland, this is a perfect getaway from the big city. We are nestled in the middle of so many beautiful spots to visit here around the Olympic parks. Only 25-30 min to the breathtaking Lake Crescent. There are numerous hikes and places to explore there. Not much further from that is the entrance to Sol Duc. Going the other direction you’ll find the Olympic Hot Springs and be close to Hurricane Ridge entrance . Cape flattery or the Hoh rainforest are not to be missed if you’re headed towards Sekui or Forks area. * There is a great little store only 8 min from our cabins , Joyce General, that closes at 8pm. We are only 25 min from Port Angeles so if you’re looking for more options be sure to hit Safeway or Walmart off 101 before heading in for the night. * Blackberry Cafe is a nice option for a meal out that is only 5-8 min from us. Family Kitchen and the One Twelve are two others near our place. In Port Angeles you have everything from amazing burgers at the Next Door Gastropub, tasty BBQ at Coyote Grill, yummy seafood and steak at Kokopelli Grill, Pho that’s the best at New Saigon. For quick and easy on the pocketbook, Fast Burrito with fresh tasty Mexican food . Also Sabi Thai has stellar Thai food. New Day Eatery has breakfast and lunch only, and is very good! Off the 101 on your way to Lake crescent, try out Granny’s Cafe open during the summer season. Pet Policy: Pets are allowed ($10 per night). All pets must be kept on a leash and be picked up after. *Most GPS software is giving incorrect directions to our location. After you get onto the dirt road, you will come to a "Y" in the road. Follow the large red signs pointing to the right, and do not go up BeachComber drive to the left. Continue to follow signs to Whiskey Creek WEST. Our office is right after you drive through the anchors. We will be ready to check you in there. * There is a great little store only 8 min from our cabins , Joyce General, that closes at 8pm. If you plan to arrive after dark be sure to follow the directions we give precisely and ask if you any questions at all. I’d bring a flash light along as well for getting settled in your cabin.

      Cozy cabin

We loved our stay! It was convenient to local sights. Nice setting! Cozy cabin! It had everything we needed. Hope to spend more time here next time we visit the Olympic Peninsula!

        Wonderful stay on the beach!

We loved staying here in this cozy-yet-comfortable cabin! Queen bed was a bit soft for our liking, but we slept fine after exploring the Peninsula all day. FYI the hot water heater is good for about a 10-minute shower and is slooooow to reheat, so plan accordingly. But the location and the peace was wonderful, and the property manager was very responsive. We greatly enjoyed our stay here--thanks!

Adorable Cabin off the beaten path

Great little cabin with an excellent view. We wanted to find a spot central enough to explore and yet remote enough to get us feeling “off the grid” — this place did the trick. Around 30 minutes from Lake Crescent, this campground/cabin retreat was easy to get to, but hidden away. The cabin is small, but has all that you need. We also enjoyed the evenings out making s’mores and hanging out by the fire while our little one slept.

            Lovely cabin

What a lovely quaint little cabin! We really enjoyed our stay here. We only stayed 2 nights but wished we had stayed here our entire trip to the Olympic peninsula. Would definitely stay again :)

              Real Get Away

This property is quiet and peaceful. We stayed four nights and were so relaxed by the end of our trip. We would walk to the beach daily. We traveled with our toddler who had a blast. The outdoor space to this cabin kept her from running off too far. There is no TV or radio in the cabin, and no cell service (for AT&T wireless at least) this helped us to really relax and get away from it all. We brought food in from Port Angeles, which is at least a 30 minute drive. Joyce is a very very small town, but they did have a general store, which had pretty much everything you would need if you forgot something. The only thing that we would complain about was the frame for the queen bed. It was not very supportive, which allowed the bed to bow. The mattress and box spring seemed pretty new, however, there was no cross bar on the frame so the bed just didn't have support in the middle. Maybe the owners will fix that soon. With that said, I still slept soundly every night and I didn't have any aches or pains in the morning. This property is great for children. We would love to visit again. I just can't say enough about this place. It was clean and well maintained. No issues at all. Thank you for such a great stay!
