        FANTASTIC!

We loved everything about staying here! It was peaceful and quaint and had everything we needed for a father/son getaway. Will definitely be coming back!

          A rustic retreat!

My family enjoyed our stay here at this quaint, peaceful cabin. We connected more with the lack of electricity. The binoculars substituted for the television in the morning as we all searched for whales, otters, seals and birds. The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous! The kerosene lamps, and candle light made it interesting in the evening and we had a great game of Yahtzee our second night. The sound of waves were peaceful to fall asleep to and the seagulls were a refreshing alarm clock. Conveniently located to Port Angeles, hurricane ridge, lake crescent and sol doc hot springs. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!

          5/5 Excellent

Great rustic beachside cabin on the Strait of Juan De Fuca.

Staying at Whiskey Creek Beach was an amazing experience. We had places on the Olympic peninsula to see--it is a great location to get out and see so many wonders of nature--however it is also an awesome place to just spend time decompressing from life's stressors. The fire in the freestanding propane stove provides warmth and ambiance, as does the warm light from the propane lamps. The waves will lull you to sleep at night. We found the mattress to be a bit too firm, but were advised by the owners that a couple of the cabins have pillow top or softer mattresses. The owners were very accommodating and responded quickly to our messages. We will definitely be staying at Whiskey Creek Beach again!!

            5/5 Excellent

              Great way to unwind.

Lucky for us we chose a Whiskey Creek Cabin. The entire county was without power due to a major wind storm. Tim was great at keeping us advised of road conditions and vectoring us in. Because the cabin runs off propane, we were one of the few with heat and lights. What a great location to watch a NW storm roll through! Be sure to bring a flashlight and an extra LED lantern because this isn't city living, it's dark outside!
