"We noticed ahead of time, that this property's manager was completely unresponsive, but hoped it would be OK when we got there. Instructions said the house was in a gated community, and that the gate house guard would contact the manager. The gate house guard had no information on how to contact the manager. We were let in, and got to the house - It looked like the pictures. But, there was no info on how to get in, and still no response to call/text/email. We contacted VRBO support - They could not contact the manager either. VRBO offered us alternative places, but they were too far away. We requested a refund, which VRBO honored - Kudos to VRBO! A friend who lives nearby said this sort of scam is common in this area."

"First, when you get to the place you get a huge hill which isnt really easy to get up, they would send someone to help you getting your car up. The place is really nice and quiet. A lot of mosquitoes since its basically a mountain, there is a -jungle- next to the area. Moving around isnt that easy but the staff is willing to help. Had a really long waiting time for the Caribbean Restaurante they work with deliver the food (took around 1 hour and 20 minutes to get a octopus fillet and a pizza) which was not so pleasing. The bad part is that we are in a mountain and they are going to be bugs around cearly, we got a cockroach in our room, we asked for some spray to kill it, but the guy never showed up with it, my husband dont like them at all, so we didnt get a good sleep at night.
