Your Playa del Carmen vacation
Surrounded by cerulean seas and dotted with attractions, Playa del Carmen is an essential stop-off when traveling around Mexico's Caribbean Sea coast. Visit the eco beauty of Sian Ka'an for greenery and a lesson in saving the environment, or Tukan Beach for plenty of sunshine and cheap beachside bars. If snorkeling appeals on your Play del Carmen vacation, take a ferry to the legendary Paamul, a place known for its spectacular underwater life.
Playa del Carmen is a treasure of a town in the heart of Mayan Riviera, and with CheapTickets, this treasure can be enjoyed for little cost.
Best Time to Go
Like much of the Caribbean, Playa del Carmen vacations are much more popular during the winter because of its warm temperatures. At the same time, however, you can find some great Playa del Carmen getaways at lower prices during the spring and summer. September, October and November are the rainiest months, but the rest of the year is quite dry by comparison. If you enjoy deep-sea fishing, it is best to come during these drier months to ensure greater catches and avoid rough sea conditions.
