"Overall my family had a great stay. pros and cons Pros- right on beach in central location close to grocery store. Pool was heated Villa looked like pictures but needs updating. Outdoor area is great and all rooms have independent AC which was nice. Cons- Not a private villa, it is the first floor of a two story house. There is someone living upstairs with a noisy pet bird. Since it is a shared house you can not enter from the street only from the beach which was confusing upon arrival and difficult to transport luggage and groceries. It is 3 bedrooms and a living room It was musty when we arrived and a bit tired, could have been aired out. Shower handle is broken And kept falling when trying to shower so needs to be fixed. There is no welcome book so had to google how to use washer. I did a lot of research when looking for our Lanzarote villa and many reviews talked about hosts charging for surprise extras Iam not sure if it is common place or if there was a true miscommunication but our host left only 2 towels for our family of 6. We reached out immediately and we were told our reservation was for 1 person and we owed an additional $1000 for our “extra people”. We had made a proper reservation on Vrbo and even completed the check in process using host link which required passport info of guests. The host sent a pay sight outside of Vrbo for additional payment. We sent screen shots of reserv and payments and host apologized. Seemed like a money grab and left a bad taste."

"Villa was excellent. Pool was good,could have been better with a rail on the steps.tv would have been better if there were English channels. Annabel was easy to contact when we had to.Looking forward to rent villa in the future."

"The Hotel was lovely and in a great location, the roof top pool with sunbeds were always quiet so not a problem to get a bed, also a good bar on the roof. We only took breakfast which was very good, a large selection so would suit everybody. Room was really good with big fluffy towels, pay extra for a room with sea view, definitely well worth it. Second time in this hotel and it will not be the last."

"Our host Ana was very helpful and met us upon arrival and explained how everything worked. The Villa is located overlooking Concha beach just a ten minute walk from seafront restaurants and the main shopping centre. We stayed nine weeks from early January. It was beautiful weather most of the time during the day but turned cool in the evenings, too cool for us to sit outside restaurants and bars, but lots of people did. Playa Honda is a residential town that also caters for holidaymakers in a minor way. Most of the restaurants are ok but nothing special, the exception being “The Opera” which is fabulous, and good value. Parking at the Villa is on the road but we never had any trouble finding a space. We enjoyed Playa Honda although it was a lot quieter than we are used to. You can drive to anywhere on the island within 40 minutes. We had only two problems on our trip, the main one was the seafront walk. Cyclists are clearly banned from the Playa Honda seafront but this is blatantly ignored and lots of cyclists, sometime lycra clad speeders, belt along the shared pathway, we saw several near misses and it is only a matter of time before there is a serious accident probably involving a child or older person like me. Be very careful! Our only other problem was our tv which couldn’t maintain a signal for BBC or ITV. It regularly stopped. Ana did the best she could to resolve this, even changing her tv provider, but we still found it unusable. The Wi-Fi signal is fine."

"A beautiful place to stay. Beautiful staff from cleaners to receptionists. Staff so helpful, friendly and professional. I have to say my overall experience was superb. So clean and so close to taxi's, bus station, shops and beach."
