    What I did not like was that Expedia booked me a room after their mistake with the Omni Hotel and I was not supposed to pay for my room BUT Wyndham charged me. Now I am going back and forth with Expedia about the charges being reimbursed.

    So glad it was a free Hotels.com night

    The hotel is in a fantastic location - close to PNC Park, Heinz Field, Stage AE, and downtown. However, the hotel was completely overwhelmed by the guests there for the Steelers home game the next day. There were cars EVERYWHERE waiting for valet parking - to the point that several were stopped in the middle of the street with their flashers on, making it very difficult to drive by the hotel. I found paid street parking, fought through the haphazardly parked cars, only to find that check in didn't open until 4pm, firm. It was 3:30. No early check-ins. When I returned to the hotel after 6pm, I couldn't leave my car in the pull around because it was still overflowing with valet cars. I wasn't able to figure out where hotel parking was located, but I stumbled upon a non-hotel garage that was allowing Wyndham guests to park because "the Wyndham can't get their act together, it's always a disaster". The check in line was 20-25 guests long and there were 4 staff members working. When it was my turn to check in, the staff members only words to me were "I can help the next guest" and "You're on the 10th floor, elevators to your left". Housekeeping was scrambling to prepare rooms and were still finishing up the rooms on the 10th floor when I arrived. The room was clean, but I had no washcloths - which I didn't notice until the next morning's shower. At 9am next morning, housekeeping was having full volume conversations and yelling across the hallway from the adjacent rooms.
