- Disliked: Staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I had a reservation for four nights and asked for a refrigerator in the room because I am a diabetic and need to refrigerate my insulin. I told the hotel days ahead of time that I would have a late check-in and was assured that my room would be held for me. My wife also called the day of check-in and was again assured that our room would be ready and waiting for us. When I arrived at 11:40 PM I was told by the staff that the room had been given to someone else and she would check on another room for me. She came back to the office with two options and gave me a key to check out the rooms. One smelled like it had been a smoking room when I reserved a non-smoking room, and had no toilet seat. The other had a toilet seat, thank God, and did not smell like smoke, but there was a problem with the lights in the room. The only light that worked was the bathroom light. And there was no refrigerator in the room. I was told that if I took this room for my first night they would find another room for me, possible the one I reserved with the refrigerator. When I checked the following morning, I was told that the room that I reserved that was given to another guest was not available because that guest was staying additional nights. They promised to get me another room by the end of the day that I could switch to. When I returned on the second night, I was given another room to switch to, which had lighting and proper fixtures, but no working television and no refrigerator.
