"Check-in was alright. Steps in the dark are very dangerous. There are 2 motion sensored lights that last maybe 5 seconds each. We didn’t use the pool because it was too cold. The house was very cold when we arrived and through the first night. We found out later that someone turned off the thermostat. The Internet didn’t work for 2 days. The host stayed in contact and we finally figured it out. Again… someone had reset it. The furniture in the living room is not the same as the pictures. Not comfortable. There is no washer even though the listing says there is one. We expected to wash clothes. The hot water disappeared for 5+ hours one day after my wife washed breakfast dishes by hand. The view is obstructed by a power line. When we checked out, it was raining and dark and the designated steps are staggered so you never know if you’ll slip and fall because the lights don’t stay on. My wife is disabled, but I am not. I still feared that I would fall all the way down. We had to go out the balcony steps. There is a whole level of house downstairs that we could not access. Maybe that is where the mysterious washer resides? The land is beautiful, but I would not book here again."

"Absolutely loved villa. Carmen was always happy to help and her lovely dad always looked after the pool in the morning to make sure he is not in the way. I do recommend this place 100% and hope me and my family will be back."

"13 members, from cousins, to siblings and grandparents. We all enjoyed Villa Montesol. Susanna went above and beyond to help set up a flamenco lesson for the all the girls. When the pandemic hit, Susanna also honored our deposit until travel was again possible."
