"We took our five adult children with their spouses to Lisbon and Porto. This is a magical place. Iva made our stay fantastic. It is hard to find a place to house 12 people. It is out of the city, but worth the drive. The big take away was the huge kitchen. After our stay in Lisbon, we remembered how small kitchens are in Europe. This place had a huge, well stocked kitchen. It also had a large washer and dryer which was appreciated since this was our second stop on our tour. For anyone wanting quiet and not the noise of the city, We would recommend this place."

"The house is located in a nice, quiet, neighborhood on a narrow cobblestone street. We spent most of our time on the patio which is beautifully landscaped with succulents and flowering plants. João, the host, was very quick to respond to any questions we had. You definitely need a car to get around. If you want a quiet getaway this is the place!"

"This is a very charming old property which has been lovingly cared for by its owner. Although in the centre of a small village in the vicinity of Porto, it has a beautiful aspect and view over farmland - maize and vines. The pool makes this a perfect family holiday venue. You can walk to a baker and a butcher and fruit shop in the town and the supermarket is not far by car. It also benefits from being within a 40 minute train ride of Porto - which is a magical and architecturally stunning city full of energy. we loved our stay."
