"This VRBO ad states it includes a balcony and implies it’s a whole home.. It is actually a basement suite and it is miles from the lake. The tenants upstairs had no consideration for us living downstairs and were stomping around like elephants at 5am! The cabinetry in the kitchen has large chunks out of the drawers as do the cabinets in the bathroom. Both bathtubs had corroded drains that needed to be cleaned and the faucets were missing the filter on the ends. If we had the luxury of just walking away, we would have but this was an important family event that we needed to attend. This was way overpriced and if I could include photos in this review, I would. They also had an outdoor fish pond that hadn’t been maintained and smelled horrible and had thick green sludge coating over it."

"The property was nice but wasn’t very clean, the fridge smelt so bad that it was unusable. The curtain rods in the living and dinning room were falling out of the wall and we were scared to use them as they looked as if they could fall. The tub in the bathroom needed to be cleaned before it was used and urine was all down the outside of the toilet. Glasses in the kitchen had lipstick on them so it was clear they had t been washed. The worst parts about this stay is that there was a loud beeping coming from the garage that wasn’t accessible, it was right beside the bedroom for so you could hear it all night. The absolute worst part was we couldn’t get ahold of the host and Expedia wasn’t able to contact them either. We stayed four days and weren’t able to contact the host during the whole stay. "

"Beautiful unit and resort. Mike was incredibly helpful and met us at the unit for check in to go through everything. The resort had all the amenities we could ask for. The unit was very clean and everything we needed was supplied for a week long stay as a family. The unit has a huge deck and was located in a quiet corner of the resort. We would highly recommend a stay here to everyone."

"This home is located right across the street from the public beach in Peachland. The beach is extremely clean, as is the water, and there are many shades spots to set up under a tree. Truly beautiful. Our hosts would even save us a great spot early in the morning, so that we could easily go back and forth from the house to the beach! The property itself is beautiful and well maintained with many trees, shrubs and flowers that provide privacy and the feel of an oasis. We spent a lot of time on the patio! The unit itself is fully modern and updated. 2 full baths, 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, laundry as well as kitchen with everything you could need to feel at home. The unit was extremely clean and comfortable. We can’t say enough good things about our hosts Cecile and Wayne - they treated us amazingly and we felt like we were family. We can’t wait to visit again - thank you both!"
