Newport News vacation home in North Newport News
Single family home in quiet neighborhood very convenient to military bases, universities, colonial Williamsburg & historic Yorktown, Busch Gardens and Water Country. This house went though a total rehab in 2016. Beautifully furnished. Two seating areas (living room and family room), kitchen, dining room. Awesome master suite with king-sized bed, private sink/vanity, TV/DVD player, desk, and conversation/lounging/seating area. Second bedroom sleeps 4 - bunk beds - has desk area, TV with video tape player and seating. Lovely deck and outdoor area with plenty of comfortable furniture and gas grill. Grassy area for pets and kids - enclosed by privacy fence. Washer/Dryer. Pets allowed, with some requirements. Everything is provided --- sheets, blankets, towels, paper towels, hand soap, etc --- except food and personal hygiene items (bath gel, shampoo). Safety: there are multiple smoke detectors on both floors; a carbon monoxide detector (though all appliances are electric); fire extinguishers on each floor; an escape ladder on the 2nd floor and posted escape plans. Check-in is 4pm; check out is 11am. Please note: !) This house does not have cable TV but does receive @ 15- 30 local channels via high gain antennae. On shared WiFi network, receiving @ 25-50 bpm, depending on device. Google Chromecast available, but suggest that movies and shows be downloaded to device prior to streaming for maximum quality during showtime. Roku installed with many free movie channels and select networks. SlingTV through Roku. 2) The garage is used for storage and is not available for guest use. 3) We do not take reservations or payments outside of this booking site. 4) Response to booking requests, inquiries, and communications may not be immediate but we do our best to make contact ASAP. We appreciate your patience. 5) The City of Newport News imposes a hotel tax on the property. The State of Virginia imposes a sales tax. Due to the booking site configuration, we are not able to combine them. Therefore, we charge a property fee per night to cover the city tax. State tax is collected by the booking site. We appreciate your understanding.

        Awesome home!

        This home exceeded my expectations. Pam has anticipated all our needs. There were items I didn’t think of bringing and boom there it was. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and centrally located. Easy commute to all attractions. It was nice to be able to bring the fur babies and have a safe fenced area for them. That was the gem of the whole trip. Thanks for the use of your home, We enjoyed our trip and anniversary not having to worry about our sick fur baby. Thank you Pam.

            Our Virginia Cozy House
