Yorktown Cottages is one for the books!

The Yorktown cottage was amazing. The cottage is just a short walk to the riverwalk, Yorktown Main Street, several local restaurants, and across the street from the Yorktown trolly stop. The cottage is decorated with period pieces, Nancy Thomas Art, and several personal touches throughout the home. It is truly a home away from home.

      Yorktown Cottages

This place was hard to leave. Beautiful inside, clean, furniture comfortable, location great for Historic Triangle via Colonial Parkway, very quiet neighborhood. We had four nights and that was not enough to see everything we wanted to see. Like everyone else has posted, the shower is small, but unless you are a giant it is manageable. We found the Yorktown Battlefield audio tour cd after we already drove around. It is on the bookshelf in the lower living room area. The Riverwalk area is an easy walk for dinner, even after a long day of visiting the historic sites. Parking is available if you are too tired to walk. This is just a clean, comfortable place to spend a few days. I am ready to move to Yorktown.

        Lovely stay

Stayed here ahead of Dorian grazing the Virginian Coast . Message from owners to arrive early which we did, the most amazing property. Beautifully decorated, everything you could need. We had a lovely stay , really didn’t want to leave. Would thoroughly recommend!

Great cottage for a quick beach stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this historic Yorktown beach cottage. The owners were very quick to respond to any of our messages and the property was very clean! The only tricky thing to work around was no real dining table or bar stools to sit at for eating.

          5/5 Excellent

            Adorable cottage in excellent location

Short walk from restaurants and beach. We set up the pack n play for our 20 month old in the upstairs bedroom (with queen bed). This set-up worked out extremely well for naps and also allowed everyone else to hang out in the kitchen and den downstairs without disrupting her sleep. The only shower is in the downstairs bathroom and it is very small. My husband is 6'3" and it was pretty uncomfortable but doable. The entire check-in/check-out process was seamless. We have family in the area and hope to stay here the next time we visit. Definitely recommend!
