GREAT LOCATION. Given the volume of people it was clean, organized and friendly. We would stay there again.

In the city center, The New Yorker A Wyndham Hotel is in New York's Midtown neighborhood, an area with good airport proximity and shopping. American Dream Meadowlands and Sunset Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Bryant Park and The High Line Park. Looking to enjoy an event or a game? See what's going on at Madison Square Garden, or consider St. James Theatre for a night out. Our guests appreciate the hotel's central location for the sightseeing. It's also convenient to public transportation: 34 St. - Penn Station is just steps away and 34 St. - Penn Station (Fashion Av.) is 3 minutes by foot.

Hotel reception was somewhat friendly and quick. Room was relatively clean but bathroom was small. Overall a decent place but please watch out for the "resort" or "facility fee". With the additional fees and taxes you have to pay an additional almost $40 per night. They say you get internet. (who needs that anymore when you can hotspot your phone), workout facility (which I didnt use), and phone. I can understand charging for workout facility "IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE IT". I called the reception to ask about the fees and they said "its non negotiable...everybody pay". I told her it was a ripoff. Wont stay here again.
really bad, old and unrenovated place and expedia overcharged me more than doubling the regular price of this hotel.
Old hotel poor maintained and facility charge is ridiculous especially since their facilities are so old and outdated.
