    4/5 Good

Beautiful courtyards, huge hotel to explore, plenty of options for eating or shopping or entertainment--which is good as there's not much else in that part of the city. Hotel and conference staff were helpful, responsive, and friendly (especially Sam from AV who helped me relocate my lost charging cable--thanks, Sam!). If I were in Nashville again would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here because we were going to a show at the Opry and thought it would be great to be able to walk over and then after we could come back and just eat somewhere at the resort and hangout. Well we got back at 9:30 and everything was already closed, we went to the deli that was open which is basically a little convenience store and the girl working was incredibly rude. We spent $60 on two gas station sandwiches and and two drinks/chips. Everything there is very expensive. Everyone else we encountered working there was very nice though. If I had know that this place closed down by 9pm we would have stayed somewhere else, I'm just writing this review because I wish I had read one that gave me a little more insight before I planned our weekend. The place is also huge so expect to be walking a lot back and forth to your room and if you park your car. Also this and the Opry are basically in the middle of the mall area so the traffic and navigating is terrible.

Got a handicapped room when didn’t request one. Had to escalate to management to change. Broken seat in restaurant: server says, “others have complained, too.” Maitre’d took my complaint but seemed uninterested. Fantastic facility - huge, gorgeous, but aimed for conventioneers in expense reports: a muffin or bagel was $3.50-5.00 in the market. Soda machines were $2.50. Entree was good in the Tuscan restaurant but $40 for four scallops and four ravioli was $20 too much. Room was nice. Bed and linens great. Oh, did I mention $32 for parking - self serve, that is. Been there. Done that. Not coming back.
