Proximity to beach and downtown excellent. Motel very quiet for being on a major road. Beds comfortable and facility very clean. Furniture down in the heel, needs an upgrade. Pool area and landscaping excellent! Breakfast inedible if you have health concerns. We ended up going to Publix and buying Greek yogurt, fruit, healthy granola, and were very happy to have a fridge, freezer and microwave. Fake scrambled eggs, over-salted sausages, fried potatoes where the oil squirts out when you bite, sickeningly sugary cereals and muffins, awful if you care about your health. No wonder there is a health epidemic of heart, stroke, diabetes, and Alzheimers in the USA. Service not great. When I asked for extra hangers, someone showed up with towels; when I asked for ice because the ice machine was broken for 2 days the front desk person just laughed, and told me to find another machine. On a positive, when we asked for a TV guide to channels as we are not from the area, one arrived promptly. Cleaners did a good job, but it was difficult to ask for something specific as they were all non-English speakers. The happy hour restaurant is superb, great chef and friendly service. Would I return, yes, for all the positives together with the price point. Unfortunately all the other negatives would need to improve for me to pay more. Ramada needs to educate their staff regarding service. Good communication, a smile, a nice tone of voice cost a company nothing.
