Close to the Submarine Museum, 15 minutes to Foxwoods Casino, 12 Minutes to Mohegan Sun, the Crystal Mall, and Mystic Seaport, Newport mansions are 1 hour away, close to all highways to Boston, Providence, and New York.

    One of a kind location with picturesque views

    Beautiful 2 room suite 2 beds and couches can accommodate six people Nice kitchen with water cooler and Keurig and Coffee pods Clean quiet comfortable Don’t miss the beautiful sunset that seems to go on for hours Located right next-door to the Navy submarine museum and base. Be sure to be outside at night time around sunset and also around eight 8:30 PM you can hear the bugles from the Navy base and also in the morning around 8 AM or 8:30 AM and they also play God bless America really awesome way to start your day Don’t miss seeing the US S Nautilus you can go on it and check it out really cool And don’t miss the submarine museum no charge to get in you and can make a small donation if you wish The owner of the house George is a friendly and really nice guy!! His house is not far from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun and Mystic If you’re looking for a good local place to eat close by - don’t miss Norms diner. Really great food and great people! I can’t wait to go back and stay with George again !!!

      Loved it

      I enjoyed my stay. The place is peaceful and relaxing. Very spacious. I am definitely looking forward to going back because one night was not enough.

        Beautiful view, comfy apartment!

        We loved the apartment- quiet, comfortable, quick drives into either Groton or New London. And it had a washer-dryer so we could catch up on laundry. Best part was the Thames River views up and down the river, especially with the lights at night.

          Lovely place to stay

          George was very thorough in explaining the check-in process, and communicating with me during the day of our arrival. We arrived in the evening, just in time to see the amazingly beautiful sunset over the river. The interior was clean and spacious and perfect for our group of 5. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely book it again. My only suggestion would be provide additional bedding, or for guests to bring an extra couple of blankets.

            Serene and relaxing getaway!!!

            Loved this property..pictures are very accurate! View at sunset is stunning. Rooms were very clean. .. modern decor and amenities. We visited with our 20 month and 2 month old babies and we all had good night's sleep (bar the rumble of the freight train passing by twice in night) . Landlord lives upstairs but hardly heard them. Overall, very pleased and look forward to coming back again some time!!! Thank you George! :-)
